Rachel Shenton
Rachel is a British actress and writer born in the Midlands. Rachel started her career at the Edinburgh fringe festival, where her play received critical acclaim. In 2018 Shenton won the Academy Award® for Best Live Action short film, for The Silent Child that she both wrote, produced and starred in.
Rachel co-founded the Hear Art Project which is committed to supporting deaf and hard of hearing filmmakers in developing their career and make the cross over into mainstream media.
The British Short Film Awards proudly partnered with The Hear Art Project in 2021 awarding it our full film fund.

Elliot Grove
Canadian born, Elliot is a producer, actor and a director. he most notably founded the British Independent Film Awards in 1998 and The Raindance Film Festival in 1992.
He is a powerhouse in championing British independent film and has inspired a new generation of short and feature film makers.
Elliot is the very worthy recipient of the 2021 Impact Award.
